The Indo-Arab League is the only organisation in India, which is totally committed towards maintaining harmonious relations between India and Arab world, and to achieve this goal, we have been organising various public meetings, seminars and conferences, in Hyderabad from time to time, in which various top dignitaries and top political leaders have participated including former presidents H.E. Sardar Giani Zail Singh, H.E. Dr. Shanker Dayal Sharma, and former prime ministers Smt. Indira Gandhi, Mr. V.P. Singh, Mr. P.V. Narsimha Rao, Mr. H.D. Deve Gouda, Mr. I.K. Gujral, and mr. A.B. Vajpayee, other state Governors, and Chief Ministers of A.P. and top national leaders of various political parties.

We feel proud to mention that the champion of palestine cause, late H.E. Mr. Yasser Arafat, had visit Hyderabad, twice on our invitation, in 1982 and again in 1997, and during his last visit, he had laid the Foundation Stone of the proposed "Indi-Arab Cultural Centre" at Hyderabad's posh Banjara Hillss area.

And H.H. Mr, Shaikh Ikrimah Sabri, the Grand Mufti of Palestine had Laid the foundation Stone of "Rahmate Alam Mosque" (On a part of the Indo-Arab Cultural Centre's Land) on Dec. 13^th 1993.

We take pride to mention here, that the proposed grand "Indo-Arab cultural Centre" is coming up on an Area of 11,000 Sq. Yards, and this land was donated to the Indo-Arab League by Mrs. Basheerunnisa Begum, my own sister and not by the Govt. or any other agency.

"Rahmat Alam Mosque" has already been built at a cost of wellover Rs. 10 Corers (Approx, 1.8 million U.S. dollars) and can accommodate 2000 persons at a time, which is built by our own resources.

The total cost of this prime land in the most expensive area of Banjara Hills is about Rs. 150 Corers (approximately 27 million dollars) as per present market value.
